St. Anthony's Sand Dune Dirtbiking Adventure
Over Memorial weekend my dad, my older brother and I took a trip to St. Anthony's sand dunes in Idaho to go dirt biking. My Brother took a week off work and drove to Columbia Falls, Montana from Williston, North Dakota to meet up with us for the trip. We spent almost a full day getting loaded up and switching to our paddle tires.
I love riding in the dunes because you get this sense of freedom unlike riding anywhere else. You can go wherever you want, no trails telling you where to go.
Taking a break on the edge of Dead-Horse bowl. Which is just a huge bowl shaped area that is fun to play around in.
Some night maintenance, my dads light bar wasn't grounded in the right area so it kept flickering. Not a good idea when there are a bunch of people drinking in side by sides. So he decided to head back to the trailer.
By dunes, I'll see you again next year.

GoPro Hero 4 Cases: Pros and Cons of Different cases
Here is a video review of some GoPro cases for the Hero 4. I am reviewing the skeleton case, the regular waterproof case and a protective case that looks similar to the underwater case but has an open side port.
First off is the underwater case, this case is absolutely necessary if you are taking any underwater footage because the GoPro Hero 4 is not waterproof. This is one of my favorite case, but as it is meant to keep out water, it also does a good job at keeping out noise. So if you plan on doing any vlogging, or if you want to include sound in your video then you shouldn't use this case on land.
When you take your GoPro out of its case to get decent sound you will quickly notice that there is no protection and you can't mount it to any of your mounts, that is where the skeleton mount comes in handy. It protects the outer edge of your GoPro and has holes where the microphones on your GoPro are and it also has a hole where your side port for audio is located. This is great, because if you have external audio, it can really improve your audio quality.
One thing you will notice about the skeleton case is that it doesn't offer any protection for your lens or the LCD touchscreen. This is where the other case comes in handy, it offers plenty of protection and it still has an open side port to connect an external microphone. With this case, you will need an external mic or you could drill holes where the GoPro's microphones are located.

Ice Fishing Near Kalispell, Montana
Here's some photos and a video of me and my family fishing near Kalispell Montana. The video is from a Slough off the Flathead River, with my wife my brother and his girlfriend. The photos of the pike are also from that slough, and the photos of the perch are from another Lake nearby.
My wife and I caught these Northern Pike on tip-ups together. She pulled in the largest one. All of these pike were over 5lbs. The one up top was just under 8lbs. However I was just using a cheap digital scale and I'm not sure how well it works in the cold. I love the colors on these fish, they are so beautiful
Today we were messing around more than fishing, as you can tell. The fish were not biting today.
Here is a small bunch of Yellow Perch at our last spot. We had about 30-35 keepers today.

Maui Zipline Tour
When we were in Maui, our family went on a Zip-line tour. It started out with some small zip-lines to help us practice using the gear, and the lines got progressively harder. Before long we were going from tower to tower in the trees. Finishing with the longest one at the end. Here are some of the photos of that tour.
